Agreement

The website cuura.space is operated by Aureas Media Sdn Bhd (the “Company”). Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Company. The Company, “Aureas Media”, offers all information, tools and services available from this site, to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. By visiting our site and/or making purchases from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including, without limitation, to users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants and/or contributors of content.

Communication

When you use cuura.space or send an email to CUURA Space, you are communicating with us electronically and therefore consent to receiving communications from us electronically. CUURA Space will be communicating with you via email or by posting notices on the website and/or social media channels and/or text messages/WhatsApp. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications provided by CUURA Space electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communication be in writing.

Privacy policy

We have adopted a privacy policy that you should read in order to fully understand how we collect and use your information.

Promotions and promo codes

From time to time, CUURA Space may offer promo codes which may apply to any, or certain specified purchases made through our website. We are strictly not obligated to inform you of any upcoming promotions or promo codes beyond the current or existing promotion or promo codes. Every promotion and promo code will be subject to specific terms & conditions specified at the time the promo code is issued (including and not limited to the duration of the promotion's or promo code's validity) in addition to those mentioned in these Terms.
If you have made a purchase on our website before a promotion is announced, CUURA Space is not liable to extend the same promotion to you in the interest of fairness to our other customers. We have several ways of notifying the public on our promotions or promo code - we may send you the details via email (if you have signed up for our marketing emails), or we may advertise the promotion or promo code on our Website, or we may announce it on our social media channels.
We have the right to refuse you the use of any promotion or promo code once it is expired or fully redeemed. Depending on the promotion or promo code, a promo code may only be redeemed once for each customer. These codes may not be used in conjunction with any other discounts. Only one promotion/voucher/promo code may be used per order.

General condition

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over various networks and changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

User Comments, Feedback and other submissions

In order to preserve order to our web pages, we reserve the right to remove comments/content/reviews from any part of the CUURA Space Website/ Facebook page / Instagram profile and all other social channels.
  • The comment has been recognised as SPAM (the repeated posting of the same message or comments posted automatically).
  • The comment is inappropriate or offensive or misleading or irrelevant towards CUURA Space or other users.
  • The comment includes racist, sexist or other discriminatory statements.
  • The comment encourages violence towards third parties (including institutions or companies).
  • The comment is seeking to distribute hate propaganda and/or pornography.
  • The comment is being misused for advertising purposes.
  • The comment violates the rights of third parties (particularly copyright rights).
  • The contribution contains negative comments on the behaviour or performance of CUURA Space employees and the employee can be identified by attribution.
Data protection is important to us: As such, we will remove any comments in which personal information, such as full names, telephone numbers, addresses or email addresses, is communicated. Please only send these personal information via email to hello@cuura.space.

Shipping & Delivery

CUURA Space delivers only within Klang Valley in West Malaysia for the time being via a third-party delivery service through an arm's length agreement. Upon purchasing our product, you agree to the delivery conditions as below:
  • We deliver our products in 2- 4 working days when the order is ready for dispatch and delivery.
  • The delivery takes place from Monday - Saturday only, excluding Malaysia Public Holidays.
  • The delivery date can be scheduled based on a case-to-case basis with a minimum of 5 days of advanced notice. Delivery time is subject to our third-party delivery partners and cannot be scheduled.
  • The delivery time frame may be longer during peak sales seasons such as and not limited to Hari Raya, Christmas, Chinese New Year, and more due to high demand received by our third-party delivery partners. We will try our best to deliver within our normal delivery time frame. However, as the deliveries are made by third-party delivery partners, we do not take any responsibility for any late delivery cases during high sales seasons.
  • Purchases made on CUURA Space are shipped to customers within the above-mentioned delivery time frame.
  • Any additional costs to CUURA Space such as and not limited to on-demand delivery or return pick-up requests on a specific time and date will be charged to the customer in case of a return and deducted from the refund amount.
  • If you are not able to accept delivery, you must advise CUURA Space before a delivery is attempted.
  • Delivery dates and times are entirely subject to availability and scheduling by our third-party delivery partner, and not CUURA Space.
  • CUURA Space is not responsible for loss of items once delivered to the shipping address.

Price

The prices for products available for purchase will be displayed within the site. Prices exclude shipping fees and installation fees. The shipping fees and installation fees to be calculated upon checkout. There are no hidden prices at checkout and all monetary transactions on the website are calculated in MYR (Malaysian Ringgit).
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Payment

All our payments are processed through Ipay88. CUURA Space does not store any credit card data within our systems. All purchase transaction data is only kept as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction. Upon completion, your purchase transaction information shall be deleted.
Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
Instalment plan payment:
  • You shall pay for the product in full at the time of ordering by supplying your credit card details from a credit or debit card company acceptable to us, which we require in order to process your order.
  • You must be fully entitled to use that card or account. The card or account must have sufficient funds to cover the proposed payment to us.
  • When you choose to apply for the credit card easy payment scheme, the transaction shall be handled by IPay88 or by the credit card bank issuer. You will be offered by IPay88 the option of converting your purchase to the credit card easy payment scheme. You shall only be entitled to the credit card easy payment scheme upon verification and approval by CUURA Space or IPay88.
  • The status and tenure of your credit card easy payment scheme is subject to your credit card issuing bank's approval.
  • The approval for a credit card easy payment scheme is subject to your available balance and credit availability on your credit card account, CUURA Space has no decision-making power whatsoever in granting this approval.
  • Each credit card easy payment scheme may be charged a processing fee and additional finance charges by the relevant credit card issuing bank. This fee shall not be refundable, even if the purchase transaction is terminated, regardless of the reason for termination.

Warranty

We offer a one year warranty on our furniture against manufacturing defects applicable to the original owner effective from the date of delivery. Please refer to our warranty section in our Refund Policy page in order to fully understand the applied conditions.

Product availability

CUURA Space reserves the right without prior notice to discontinue or change specifications on products and services offered on this website without incurring any obligations.

Accuracy of information

CUURA Space attempts to be accurate as much as possible. However, we do not warrant that product description or any content of services are accurate, complete, reliable, current, updated or error-free. If a product offered by CUURA Space is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in an unused condition. CUURA Space does its best to display product colours shown on its website as accurately as possible. However, because the colours you see depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour is accurate. We will not be held responsible for any discrepancy between the colour displayed and the actual perceived colour for the product itself.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Law

Any dispute or claim relating in any way to your use of CUURA Space services or to any product sold by CUURA Space through its website or different channels will be resolved by arbitration, rather than in court. CUURA Space and you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action.

30 days Return

For returns on furniture except paintings, rugs, faux plants, floor lamps and table lamps, you must send an email within 30 days of purchase to hello@cuura.space and we'll arrange the item(s) to be picked up from your residence. Once we have collected it and assessed the item(s) to our satisfaction, your total payment to CUURA Space will be refunded. Please note that by making a purchase, you are also bound to the following conditions:
If the furniture was not purchased from cuura.space and/or have been customized, it is not eligible for a return or a refund.
  • To make a return request, send an email with your order number and reason for returning to hello@cuura.space.
  • A valid proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email) is required for all return or exchange requests.
  • If you are unreachable or do not respond to our attempts to contact you with regards to your return request after the 30 days Return period, you will no longer be eligible for a return.
  • The 30 days return of all of our furniture except paintings, rugs, faux plants, floor lamps and tables lamps cannot be used to exchange for the furniture of another size or another colour or another material. You are not eligible for a return if you have ordered the wrong size, type, colour or material of the item(s).
  • This is applicable to all new orders and limited to a one-time-return per order.
  • If we have grounds to believe that you are returning the furniture for reasons other than because you're genuinely dissatisfied with the product, we reserve the right to refuse the return, not provide you the requested refund and reserve the right to refuse to sell our products to you in the future.
  • Returned item should be in reasonably good condition. Once the return item arrives back at our warehouse, the item will be inspected. If the sofa or the armchair has been damaged or stained, you will not be granted a return or refund. The returned item must be sent back in good condition.
  • Pick up address must be the same as the delivery address.
  • If you are not at home at the moment when the pick-up is scheduled and our third party courier has to reschedule another visit, you will be charged RM150 as a compensation fee which will be deducted promptly from the refund amount.
Amend / Cancel Order
  • If the customer wishes to amend or cancel an order, please contact us by email within 2 working days from the order date to do so. Customers are to provide their CUURA Space order number and the details of amendment in which they would like to make, and we will confirm once the amendment has been made.
  • If the order was not made by the customer, please get in touch with us via email / webchat within 2 working days to cancel the order.
  • CUURA Space will contact customers by email and SMS should the order amount to more than RM5,000 in order to confirm the order is good to proceed.
  • Please note that any orders that have already been processed, packed or shipped are strictly not allowed to be cancelled.
CUURA Space does not bear responsibility and will not cancel any order which was misplaced or processed should the customer not contact CUURA Space, based within the time frame mentioned above.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
